Terre di San Venanzio Fortunato

Terre di San Venanzio Fortunato is a family owned winery located near the most prestigious ‘cru’ of Cartizze in Valdobbiadene, and solely produces limited quantities of Prosecco Superiore DOCG sparkling wines. San Venanzio Fortunato was a Latin poet born in Valdobbiadene in the sixth century, and was elected Bishop at Poitiers in France.
Conegliano Valdobbiadene, which gained D.O.C.G. recognition in 2009, represents the top of the quality pyramid for Prosecco, a wine that is produced exclusively in North-Eastern Italy in the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia Regions.
VALDOBBIADENE PROSECCO SUPERIORE DOCG BRUT
Brut is the most modern version of the Prosecco wines, the one that best suits international tastes.
Grape Variety: 100% Prosecco (Glera)
Production: 40,000 bottles (3,333 cases)
RS: 11.0 g/L
Presentation: straw yellow color which is brilliant thanks to the integration of the “perlage” and the bubbles.
Nose: green apple and pear with great fresh aromatic notes.
Palate: is continuous and lively in the mouth, slightly sweet but perfectly balanced.
VALDOBBIADENE PROSECCO SUPERIORE DOCG EXTRA DRY
Extra Dry is the more classic version of the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore and is excellent as an aperitif.
Grape Variety: 100% Prosecco (Glera)
Production: 40,000 bottles (3,333 cases)
RS: 18.0 g/L
Presentation: Straw yellow color which is brilliant thanks to the integration of the ‘perlage’ and the bubbles.
Nose: expresses delicate pear aroma and white flowers such as acacia and jasmine. It is delicate and very fresh.
Palate: gives an impact of soft, continuous and lively taste as well as, harmonious and elegant.
